Hometown Hero of the Week: William Taylor, May 28th, 2025
Our QDR Hometown Hero of the Week is William Taylor, a paramedic for Johnston County Emergency Services.
William Taylor, AKA TEX, was nominated by his wife Katlin Taylor, who says, “My husband has been working as a first responder from the young age of 14. He’s dedicated his whole life to making sure others around him are safe and sound in their homes. As he began his service with the fire department and then gradually became more invested in the medical side of being a first responder, he loves his job and has so much passion for helping others in their time of need. He is looking forward to continuing this line of work until he retires.”
