Our QDR Hometown Hero of the Week is Clay Vaughan, Fire Fighter and EMT with the Sanford Fire Department and First Health EMS.
Clay was nominated by his dad Chris who says, “Clay started his journey of public service when he was 16 years old as a junior firefighter. He continued his education to achieve his firefighter and EMT certification. Currently works for Sanford FD & First Health EMS. Clay has always given all to help people at their most desperate moments in life and has a heart of gold.”
