Hometown Hero of the Week

Hometown Hero of the Week: Nate Davis, October 25th, 2023
Our QDR Hometown Hero of the Week is Nate Davis, Firefighter for Puppy Creek Fire Department.
Nate was nominated by Heath Kinner who says, “Nate is only 19 years old and serves his community in many ways. He is currently a full-time firefighter at Puppy Creek Fire Department. While working a full-time job, Nate is now going to school to get his EMT and has completed one semester at Fayetteville State University for his degree in Fire Science, but for Nate, that’s not enough. On his off days, he volunteers at the Hoke County Rescue Squad and Pinehill Fire Department. Nate is doing so many great things at his young age.”
Thank you, Nate, for your service! As a token of our appreciation, we’re sending you a $50 gift card to Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q to thank you for all you do.
