Hometown Hero of the Week: Tara Gehring, December 28th, 2022
Our QDR Hometown Hero of the week is Tara Gehring, Firefighter and EMT from Lillington.
Tara was nominated by Teresa Murphy who says, “Tara is only beginning her career in Emergency services but she is passionate about her job. She is the first female fire fighter at her station in Lillington and she goes above and beyond the call of duty. She has worked hard to get certified and her friends and family are super proud of her. Tara is super bright and will help anyone she comes in contact with. Her father was a fire fighter in New York during his 9/11 and is proud of Tara for following in his footsteps.”
