Hometown Hero of the Week: Roy Gibbs, August 22nd, 2023
Our QDR Hometown Hero of the Week is Roy Gibbs, a firefighter for the Angier Fire Department.
Roy was nominated by Deborah Tucker who says, “Roy is a very dedicated fireman, and he has been since 9/ll happened. Roy eats and sleeps being the best fireman he can be. Roy does anything that he can to support the fire department, and he drives the fire engine at station 9 in Angier. I am very proud to nominate him as your home town hero, because he is my son, and I am very proud to be his mom.”
