Our QDR Hometown Hero of this week is Samantha Poe, Registered Nurse in Apex.

Samantha was nominated by her husband Michael who says, “My wife Samantha deserves to be recognized because like other heroes that serve this community, she puts herself first and is always wanting to go above and beyond to help someone in need. I’ve seen the blood, sweat, and tears of passion she puts into her job as a traveling RN and not only does she put in the passion for her job, but she also puts in the passion for our family getting up early and traveling across NC to provide for our family. I’ve seen her lay her life on the line for others, especially during this pandemic. She is a great mother to our child, Wilson, and is my best friend.”
