Our QDR Hometown Hero of the week is Aris Dixon a Fire Fighter from Chapel Hill. 

Aris was nominated by Richard Tyndall who says, “Aris has been in fire service for over eight years now and he is following in his grandfather’s footsteps. Aris started as a volunteer and now he is a fire equipment operator in a career department. He strives to pass on knowledge to everyone he meets, always has a smile on his face, and makes everyone laugh.  He carries his dedication everywhere he goes and on his days off he focuses on his family, his wife, and 7 month old daughter. Aris also runs a personal business to help his community.”
