Our QDR Gold Star Teacher of the month for October is Skyler Lee, Kindergarten Teacher at Doral Academy of North Carolina. 

Skyler was nominated by Allison Slominski, who says, “I’m nominating Ms. Lee because she is the kind of educator every parent hopes their child will have. She’s incredibly sweet, endlessly patient, and genuinely cares about the well-being and growth of every child she meets—not just the ones in her own classroom. She goes above and beyond by building connections throughout the school and offering support to students wherever she sees a need. On top of that, she tutors on the side, giving even more of her time and heart to help kids succeed. Her love for teaching and her deep compassion for children shines through in everything she does, and she truly deserves to be recognized for the incredible impact she makes every day.”
