Our QDR Gold Star Teacher of the Month for November is Holly Potts, art teacher at Lead Mine Elementary School.

Ms. Potts was nominated by 32 different people including, teachers, peers, and relatives for our QDR Gold Star Teacher of the Month. Ms. Potts is not only the BEST art teacher, and proudly our school’s teacher of the year, she also shows so much love for our little school and all of her students. She goes above and beyond to help out with events. She won a grant to give our school a beautiful outdoor garden that each student got to participate in making, and she’s just a beautiful soul. We are so thankful to have her!

Holly Potts received a commemorative plaque from Creative Images in Cary, $100 from Crabtree to shop at Auntie Anne’s, and an additional $100 to shop anywhere at Crabtree, a community staple for more than 50 years! Her picture will also be featured on the jumbo screen at Crabtree, just below the food court for the month of November.
