Our QDR Goldstar Teacher of the Month is Kathryn “Camille” Robbins, second grader teacher at Middle Creek Elementary School in Apex.
Kathryn “Camille” Robbins was nominated by all of the following people.
- Clara Robbins: First and foremost, she is my daughter, second, she’s Teacher of the Year at Middle Creek Elementary this year, her first eligible year to be voted TOY and most importantly because her dedication to teaching is such a level above and beyond the expectations set for a teacher!!! She makes learning fun and has a genuine interest in the children, not just her students but all the students. She a leader is lifts her coworkers up and because of her efforts towards the school, not only are her students better off but the whole school and their community. Camille gives it 110% every day and the results of her students show. She loves inspiring all that meet her with a beautiful smile and a kind genuine word. She is so deserving of this extra special treat. I vote for Miss Camille Robbins, 2nd grade teacher!! And one of my best friends.

Camille received a commemorative plaque from Creative Images in Cary, $100 from Crabtree to shop at Auntie Anne’s, and an additional $100 to shop anywhere at Crabtree, a community staple for more than 50 years! His picture will also be featured on the jumbo screen at Crabtree, just below the food court for the month of May.
