Our QDR Hometown Hero of the Week is TJ Tatum, Captain for the Fayetteville Fire Department. 

TJ pours everything he has into his job. Serving and protecting not only in his community but also in Fayetteville, is what he is great at! He started as a volunteer when he was a teen after graduating college with a fire science degree, he went on to become a full-time firefighter for Fayetteville. TJ is currently a Captain for Fayetteville and loves getting to do his part in taking care of the ones around him. His family feels like he deserves this because he works so hard and is so good and what he does. He also works a part time job, volunteers with another fire dept, and still finds time to spend with his family. He truly is the definition of a hero!
