Monday – Friday, 3pm – 7pm
Hey, QDR Fam! Thanks for taking the time to click on my page and for turning on QDR weekday afternoons. When you listen, you’ll hear great country music, win some cool prizes like cash, concert tickets, and more. Most importantly, you’ll be smiling from all the fun!
I love keeping you up to date on your favorite artists, what’s happening locally, sharing fun/feel-good stories, and giving away prizes. Don’t miss the Nearly Impossible Trivia Replay weekday afternoons at 5:30. It’s the same question and answer that Mike and Amanda give you in the morning at 6:25 – we’re just giving you a second opportunity to win!
I love connecting with you so feel free to call me anytime at 919-860-9470. Request a song, share your good news, or tell me a joke. Whatever it is, I’m listening 🙂
I’m mostly on Instagram these days and would love for you to follow me @maddawgonqdr
My story in a nutshell…
The quick backstory on me is that I was born in Richmond, VA and graduated from VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University) in 2000. After moving to the West Coast for a couple of years I eventually moved back to be closer to home and was hired in 2002 to host the night show on QDR. I’ve bounced around between here and Eastern, NC since then and eventually returned to QDR in 2018 to host afternoons.
I live in Cary with my wife, Sarah, and two kids, Ben and Annabelle. North Carolina is our home and I can’t imagine living anywhere else.
I enjoy spending time with my family. We love getting out on nice weather days and taking advantage of the amazing parks in Cary. We also frequent some of our favorite local restaurants like Serendipity and Abbey Road.
