Gold Star Teacher of the Month: June 2024 – Bryth Painter

Gold Star Teacher of the Month: June 2024 – Bryth Painter

Our QDR Gold Star Teacher of the month is Bryth Painter, the Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher, and also the Athletic Director for West Lake Middle School.

She was nominated by Crystal Hawkins who says, “She connects to the students with her kindness and encourages them to excel academically. Her efforts, as the Athletic Director for West Lake Middle School, includes: raising more money for student athletes, promoting good sportsmanship, always promoting safety, acquiring new uniforms and equipment for teams, coaching a team herself, gives positive recognition of all student athletes, coaching staff, and administration support. She rallies everyone around her to be better students, athletes, and better people. She gives her all to her students and athletes. Handles her jobs with great humility, grace, attention to detail, and has a smile on her face that comes from deep love of working with young people. She is so deserving of this award and more! Thanks Mrs. Painter for all you do for WLMS.”

Bryth Painter received a commemorative plaque from Creative Images in Cary, Carolina Mudcats tickets for the whole class, $100 from Crabtree to shop at Auntie Anne’s, and an additional $100 to shop anywhere at Crabtree, a community staple for more than 50 years! Her picture will also be featured on the jumbo screen at Crabtree, just below the food court for the month of June.
