Our QDR Hometown Hero of the Week is E.H. Smith, a man who served for over 20 years with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department and the Louisburg Fire Department!
His nominator said: “His years of service to his community have never gone unnoticed. He always believed in the best in people. He believed everyone deserved a chance to prove themselves and had good in them. He recently passed away on Monday, October 20th. I always knew how important he was, but to see the community support in this hard time for his family has truly been amazing.”
Mr. Smith, as a token of our appreciation, we’re sending his family a $50 gift card to Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q to thank him for all he did!
