Our QDR Hometown Hero of the week is Davey Hodge, Raleigh Firefighter!
Davey was nominated by his daughter, Logan, who says, “My dad joined the Antioch Fire Department as a Junior Firefighter when he was just 14 years old—now 41 years ago. He has now been a Raleigh firefighter for 25 years. I have always looked up to my dad for his hard work and his dedication to our community since I was a little girl. He is always willing to help anyone who is in need, even on his days off. There have been many times I have been with him, and he has stopped on the side of the road or pulled over to check on others. Thank you for everything you do for us and the community!
