Our QDR Goldstar Teacher of the month is Caroline Ward, a special education teacher at Wakefield Elementary School.
Caroline was nominated by Sheridan Northcutt, who says, “I am nominating Caroline Ward for Gold Star Teacher of the Month because of her extraordinary dedication to meeting the unique needs of her students. She recently went above and beyond by obtaining a bike for a student to help support their sensory needs. This thoughtful action demonstrates not only a deep understanding of the student’s individual challenges, but also a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Her compassion, creativity, and willingness to take extra steps truly make a lasting impact on both the student and the entire school community.”
