A stunning girl who is better than just a Cottage, she is the WHOLE property plus some! Meet Cottage who is an adult shepherd come something else with amazing coloring. She weighs a solid 45 lbs full grown. Cottage is a people dog through and through. She does fine in the company of other dogs and does interact, but she always has her eyes on the volunteers. She is such a lady too. Always quiet and patient in her crate and keeps it clean every night. She is a girl who wants to be by your side but isn’t jumping or demanding at all, just patiently persistent in being close in the best way. Cottage would settle into many homes with ease as she has so many of her manners down pat already. She isn’t a hyper dog, isn’t much of an athlete, but IS a lover and a cuddler just looking for the best place to land on a sofa near you.

Weekend Host Feedback: “I greatly enjoyed hosting Cottage over the weekend. Cottage is an incredibly sweet dog who was very gentle around my younger sister, who is 11. She walked well on her leash with very minimal pulling. Cottage was a little nervous at the beginning of each car ride, but quickly got used to them, sitting down quietly. She is house-trained and uses the bathroom very regularly. She was great in the crate and had no issues settling down at night.
Cottage is all about the food! Definitely food-motivated. She loves sitting next to a person and napping next to them whenever she can. She loves lying in the grass and smelling flowers. She absolutely loves fish and lunch meat. She’s very mellow and loves being around people!”
