Our QDR Hometown Hero of the Week is Darius Parker, firefighter with the city of Wilson Fire Department, Toisnot Fire Department, and the East Nash Volunteer Fire Department.
Darius is a hardworking firefighter. He is a firefighter with the city of Wilson Fire Department, the Toisnot Fire Department, and the East Nash Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to the workload he carries across all three jobs, he is also a full-time student who is working to earn the credentials he needs to become a Captain. Besides being a firefighter, Darius is an amazing father to his two daughters Lakelynn (3) and McKenna (1) and a stepdad to his disabled son Brayden (9). Darius is an amazing person. Not only does he go hard for his job and his community, but he goes even harder to provide for his family!
