Our QDR Gold Star Teacher of the month for March is Alice Parker, FFA teacher at Meadow School.
Alice was nominated by one of her students Kenzie Pittman, who says, “I am nominating my FFA teacher for Gold Star Teacher of the Month because she is incredibly kind, supportive, and dedicated to her students. She always encourages us to do our best and takes the time to make sure everyone understands and feels confident. She creates a positive and welcoming classroom where students feel comfortable asking questions and trying new things. On a personal level, she is always there to help me and is willing to go out of her way whenever I need support or guidance. She truly cares about her students both academically and personally, and—to me—she is like a second mother who I know I can always count on. This is why I believe Alice Paige Barefoot Parker truly deserves to be recognized as Gold Star Teacher of the Month.”
Mrs. Parker received a plaque from Creative Images in Cary, a $100 Visa gift card from April Stephens Team of eXp Realty, Make Your Move With Confidence, and $100 from Kanki Japanese House of Steak and Sushi, For Food, Fun and A Little Fire.”
