Our QDR Hometown Hero of the week is Christopher James McIntosh, State Trooper and Firefighter from Buies Creek.

Christopher works three different jobs as a first responder and, like other heroes, he saves lives 24/7. He’s a Captain on Buies Creek Fire Department where he works part-time. He’s also a North Carolina State Trooper in Harnett County where he enjoys locking up impaired drivers and enforcing chapter 20 law. He loves firefighting so much that he also works part-time at Wade Fire Department. He loves his dog river and loves to fish in his free time, while not at one of his three jobs.
