Our Fursday Pet of the Week is Perdita from Wake County Animal Center!

A little girl with a big personality! Perdita is just as cute as she wants to be with her big stand-up ears and tiny little body. Her fur is so soft and she loves her ears and face scratched. She is full of energy in her kennel, but is great on her leash once outside. She is marked no dogs by her previous owner, and has not been tried with dogs here at the shelter. She takes treats gently and is eager to please. You may notice a bump on her belly, but do not be alarmed. It is just a lump where her umbilical cord was and does not hurt her or affect or health. She is heartworm positive, but please don’t let that deter you. Heartworms are completely treatable, and she is sponsored to help cover the cost of the treatment. She will be perfectly healthy after she completes the treatment. Come meet this happy, little girl and see if you love her as much as we do!
