Our QDR Hometown Hero of this week is Kevin Murray at the Wake Forest Department.

Kevin was nominated by his wife Danielle who says, “Kevin started his career with the Garner Police Department in 2013 and served various roles including Patrol Division, Traffic Enforcement Division, Wake County DWI Task Force Officer, and served on the Special Response Team. He was MADD officer of the year in 2017. He has been working with Wake Forest Police Department since 2018 and currently is assigned to the Impact Division on the Criminal Enforcement unit. He holds his Drug Recognition Expert certification, Advanced Law Enforcement certificate, and a is general instructor. Kevin is committed to protecting and serving his community. He is also an amazing husband and father to our two children.”
