Our Fursday Pet of the Week is Cuteberry from Wake County Animal Center!
Cuteberry is such a gem and has grown to be a volunteer favorite. Since she is so special to our volunteers, she has had the opportunity to go off site on day trips to the volunteers’ homes and offices. Now that we’ve seen her in a home and office setting, we know so much more about her. She is potty trained and very well behaved. She already knows sit and stay, and she is highly treat motivated, so is easy to train other skills/commands. She does well in the car and absolutely loves hanging her head out the window. She loves being outside and playing with tennis balls. She is working on her leash manners, and has improved immensely, though she still pulls at times. She has met people of all ages, and gets along with them all. She is so happy to roll over and get her belly rubs. Though Cuteberry loves people, she would be happiest as the only pet in the household. If you have a dog-free home and space in your heart for this cutie, come meet her at the shelter!
