Our QDR Hometown Hero of this week is Skyler Hostetter. Skyler is a captain on the Chatham County Rescue squad, a firefighter on Staley Fire Department, and a 911 dispatcher in Moore County.

Skyler was nominated by Andrew Wheeler, who says that, “Skyler will go out of his way for anyone and is the reason why I got into emergency services. It doesn’t matter if he worked dispatch and got off at 6AM, he will still be around to help anyone that needs it. If you wanted someone to look up to like a big brother, it would be Skyler.”
