Our QDR Hometown Hero of this week is Durwood Radford II, Police K9 Officer in Spring Hope, NC.

Durwood was nominated by his wife Ashton Radford who says that, “Officer Radford is a hard working teammate, who shows fairness and has a heart for others.  He is always ready for work no matter what, even on his days off.  No matter where he is, if he gets a call to come help, he is ready to go. He loves his partner, Jax, who is literally his ride or die. Durwood is dedicated to do his work the right way and puts himself in others shoes and does not judge. He has always had a big heart and a willingness to help others. He is a wonderful husband, father and friend to all.”  Ashton continues to say that “police officers are a blessing and I just want him to know that he is well appreciated for all the hard training and work that he has done.”
