Our QDR Hometown Hero of the week is Jannice Perry, Activity Assistant in Henderson, NC.

Jannice was nominated by a coworker, Sandra Harris, who says that “Jannice is a great coworker and tries to make sure the residents are top priority. She has served as a CNA, med-aide, Supplies (ordering, stocking), as well as treatment aide – helping to heal wounds. She is great for employee morale. She has organized a carnival, potlucks, and parties to name a few. Since November of 2019, she has been the Activity Assistant at Kerr Lake Nursing & Rehab in Henderson, NC. She is a great asset to activities and a wonderful coworker. She always puts everyone ahead of herself. I am blessed to work with her. When COVID hit our building in May 2020, she ran the activity department for 2 weeks while I was out. I couldn’t imagine doing activities without her. The residents may not always remember her name, but they know her voice and face.”
