Our Hometown Hero of the Week is Ken Cotten, Deputy Fire Chief for Sanford Fire Department!
Ken was nominated by his wife, Wendy, who says, “Ken has always had a passion for fighting fire. He joined the volunteer fire dept at the age of 16. He always wanted to be a professional fire fighter. He was hired by the Sanford Fire Dept at age 19. He has worked hard for the past 35 years and is now the Deputy Fire Chief. Not only is he dedicated to his job, he also dedicated to his family. If anybody deserves to be recognized, it is Ken Cotton.”
Thank you, Ken, for your service! We’re sending you a gift card to Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q to thank you for all you do!
