Fursday – Meet Elliot

Fursday – Meet Elliot

94.7 QDR wants to help homeless animals around the Triangle find fur-ever homes and that’s why we started Fursdays!

Each week we will feature a local pet up for adoption through one of the amazing rescue organizations around the area.

This week we have Elliot who is with Second Chance Pet Adoption.

Here’s what Second Chance has to say about Elliot:

“Meet Elliot! This dapper boy is looking for a forever home with a seasoned dog owner, preferably someone with beagle experience. He is very loving, but needs an owner who will be his leader, not just someone who will coddle him. He is a typical beagle barker, especially when left alone, so he is NOT a good candidate for an apartment. His best fit would be with someone who is home a lot, and another dog friend would be great. Elliot loves to explore (no surprise!) and would really benefit from having someone who is active, who can take him out on hikes to engage his beagle nose. These outings will help him get some of his energy out. Elliot can be possessive with his space in the evenings, so his new person should be prepared to continue to work on this with him, being firm enough to ensure that he has boundaries, but also patient enough to work him through this quirk. Because of this, he is not suited to a home with small children. Elliot is a sweet and loving companion, who will thrive in the right home. Are you his perfect fit?”
